How it works
One question, answered by a few people who already trust each other. Everything else follows from that.
Someone starts a Circle
A Circle is a small, private group — the people you already trust. Nobody can find it, request to join it, or stumble into it. The only way in is an invitation from someone already there.
Your Guide asks a question
One question at a time, chosen for the Circle and where the conversation has gone so far. Not a list you work through — a conversation that responds to you.
Everyone answers in their own time
No timer, no turn order, no notification telling anyone they are holding things up. You answer when you have something to say, or you pass.
Answers open together
Nobody sees anyone else’s answer until everyone has answered or passed. That way the first person to reply does not set the depth for everyone else.
The session closes
Sessions end deliberately rather than trailing off. Your Guide closes the conversation, and anything worth keeping becomes a Memory.
Answering anonymously
Some questions are easier to answer when your name is not attached. You can answer anonymously, and your Circle sees the answer without knowing who wrote it — including the admins.
If you want to reveal yourself afterwards, you can. Nobody else can do it for you, and staying quiet is a complete answer.
What it costs you
A session is a few questions, not an evening. There are no streaks, no reminders that you have been away, and nothing that tells anyone how long you took. Coming back after three months looks exactly like coming back after three days.
